“If you knew what Finnick’s been through the last few years, you’d know how remarkable it is he’s still with us at all.”

Hello, everyone!

Thank you everyone for following me. You mean a lot to me and my family.

Milo says hello, and so does Finnick.

What did you think of President Coin? Have you met Paylor?

Didn’t like President Coin. She wanted the Games to come back. Not a thing that should ever happen again. They hurt too many people. She was also never very nice to me. When we spoke, she asked about what happened to me in the Capitol, she treated me like a child. Hate that. Not a child.

I did meet President Paylor! He was much nicer. Still strict, but I liked him. Treated me like a person. With respect. Which is very important. Still needs to fix some things, but Panem is in good hands.

Anonymous asked:
Do you have any pets?

No. Would love to have a cat, but never was able to. They’d eat all the fish, and cats don’t like water. Maybe when we go home. But for now, Milo is enough of a handful.

Anonymous asked:
Did you know the district partner that got decapitated?

Sebastian? Yes. Was my age. But we weren’t very close. Became friends during training, but spent most of my time with Finnick.

M!A kill Finnick and marry gale

That would be very hard to do. Considering I have a baby with Finnick who would be very upset if I killed his daddy. And Johanna is with Gale. She would very mad if I married Gale. Don’t want her to be mad at me again.

Anonymous asked:
Were you tortured in the Capitol like Peeta and Johanna?

Yes. Took me to the Capitol after they called my name a second time. Went back to my house, tried to sleep, but peacemakers broke into my house and took me.

At the Capitol, they decided to see how well I could really swim. They’d cut me, hurt me, and put me in a tank. Make it so I couldn’t swim, chain me to the bottom. Then they’d fill it with water, and the water would turn red. Just like my Games. Couldn’t swim, so I would drown. Then they’d wake me up and do it again. Over and over. Sometimes they’d use tracker jacker venom. To make it worse.

Hate red water. Have since my Games. But they didn’t ruin all water for me. Won’t let them do that. They can’t take away what I love most. Not anymore.

How were Careers trained in District 4?

Good question!

Training was part of school. Could get away with it because we’re a very physical district. Have to be able to swim, climb, survive a shipwreck, gut a fish, and defend yourself from pirates, after all. That’s what they’d say. So lots of school was training. Most of everyone would go to work on boats, and needed to know how to do that before you got on deck.

There was also an after school program. Victors would help— mostly Moira and Padrick, because Finnick was so young and Mag so old— and they would train us more in weapons and survival. After school was optional. Wound up taking those classes because my mother was a teacher. Got to take them for free. That’s where people like Finnick and I learned to really fight.

Do you want me to be more specific? Can do that, if you want.

Anonymous asked:
Were you ever a mentor, Annie?

No. Never a mentor. Didn’t want me to be. Don’t blame them. Not very good at instilling hope. Finnick kept mentoring and Mags stopped, in order to stay home with me. But I never mentored.
